{"id":1593,"date":"2026-06-18T17:11:57","date_gmt":"2026-06-18T21:11:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brooklynrobotfoundry-dev.cospark.io\/lowerwestchester\/?page_id=1593"},"modified":"2026-06-18T17:11:57","modified_gmt":"2026-06-18T21:11:57","slug":"parent-caregiver-guide","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/brooklynrobotfoundry-dev.cospark.io\/lowerwestchester\/parent-caregiver-guide\/","title":{"rendered":"Parent\/Caregiver Guide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking forward to meeting you child(ren).\u00a0 Here are answers to our most commonly asked questions, but feel free to reach out if you need more information:<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #339999\">LOCATION:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339999\">Our Fundays are held at Harbor Island Park in the Stephen Johnson Pavilion.\u00a0 We will send detailed directions and a map the day before your first program date.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">DROP OFF\/PICK UP:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Doors open at 8:50am.\u00a0 As you sign in, we will verify that all necessary forms have been completed.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Pick-up for half day is 12:00pm and full day is 3:00pm.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Parents\/Caregivers must be listed on the approved pick up list and MUST have identification.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #663399\"><strong>WHAT TO BRING:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #663399\">-Nut-free snack (half and full days)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #663399\">-Water bottle (half and full day)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #663399\">-Nut-free lunch (full days only)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #663399\">-Epi-pen \/ inhaler (if applicable)<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #339999\"><strong>WHAT TO WEAR:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339999\">Please dress for the weather.<br \/>\nPlease apply any sunscreen and\/or bug spray prior to arrival<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>ADDITIONAL:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Our team of trained teachers follow strict safety protocols to ensure that all students are always safe and secure. We also prioritize inclusivity and strive to create a welcoming and accepting environment for all children. Please let us know ahead of time if there are any accommodations or medical information about your child so our staff can provide the most awesome experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">To support our screen-free environment, we ask that all personal devices remain in children\u2019s bags during camp. Please note that Brooklyn Robot Foundry is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #663399\">FAQ<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #663399\"><strong>What number can I call if I need to reach you in the middle of the day?<\/strong><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #663399\">646-284-5351 or 914-200-4879.\u00a0 If we cannot answer the phone,\u00a0 leave a message and we will return your call.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #663399\"><strong>Will my child be with their friend(s)?<\/strong><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #663399\">All of our students will remain together all day. If you\u2019ve requested your child be with a friend, we\u2019ll try to seat them together at the same table.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #663399\"><strong>Is there food provided?<\/strong><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #663399\">We do not provide any food. Please send a nut-free lunch and snack with your child.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #663399\"><strong>Will you be going outside?<\/strong><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #663399\">We will be heading out to the playground if the weather permits.
